creation of aquatic diorama

There’s something about the ocean that makes it so mesmerizing. Maybe it’s the size. Maybe it’s all of the different creatures that can be found in it. Either way kids really enjoy learning about the ocean and sea life, so our 3 - 4 year old department made their own mini aquatic world!
Aquatic dioramas are often made from an old shoe box to start with and we recycled an old box for it too. Then we painted it blue and placed sea creature figures and drawings inside of it.
It was such a fantastic way of learning about the underwater world with our little penguins!🐳
